I always remind all my foreign friends to pay close attention to the quality of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in restaurants and trattorias. Yes, because there are still some restaurants where you incredibly come across the anonymous “ampoule of oil”, especially if frequented by foreigners. I suggest to always ask for Extra VIrgin Olive Oil in a labeled bottle not only for a matter of safety, but also to avoid oxidation and get good quality EVO that sometimes costs a fortune. Besides in an ampoule one can put any kind of oIl, even non-Italian one! if we are in Italy we must taste super good Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Do you agree?
